Big Creek Greenway.
Replacing more than 1,000 feet of boardwalk meant working through environmentally sensitive terrain with limited access. The ground conditions also differed from the original geotechnical report.
We adjusted the helical pier design using installation torque logs and built a custom concrete dumper to move material from the nearest access point.
The new boardwalk uses steel framing, reinforced concrete decking and steel handrails.
